Zincalume®
Anti-corrosive strength
Zincalume® is a steel product with an aluminium/zinc/magnesium alloy coating, useful for its anti-corrosive properties up to four times the life of galvanised steel.
Available as a plain uncoated metal grey only, for other colours you will need to look at Colorbond®.
Colorbond® is Zincalume® with a baked on colour coating.
Aesthetic
Grey metal similar in appearance to natural zinc, Zincalume® can be a cheaper alternative to using zinc products. Zincalume is easily installed in curved formation for individual designs on roofs and walls.

Highly sympathetic and versatile in modern or traditional builds with many complementary products available such as roofing, guttering, walling, guttering, roofing accessories, fencing.
Durability
Highly durable, superior corrosion resistance, strong, hail resistant. Extensive testing and development over a 17 year period has seen Zincalume® revise its manufacturing processes. It now has a longer lifespan using its Activate™ technology. Bluescope Steel warranties are available on roofing up to 36 years depending on the product and location.
Maintenance
Areas such as wall cladding under eaves, garage doors and the underside of eave gutters, benefit from hosing down or washing with a gentle kitchen disinfectant every six months or more often in coastal areas.
Versatility
Lightweight, strong. Can be used on most roofing and cladding profiles. Incompatible with copper piping, galvanised gutters and lead flashings.
